WEEKLY CHALLENGES

Each week we want to challenge you to be generous in a different aspect of your life. Check out this weeks generosity challenge

  • Often our focus in prayer is on ourselves or those we love. While there is nothing wrong with bringing our personal request to God, this week we are challenging you to pray with one person outside our church community.

This will require listening to the Holy Spirit and having boldness to ask those around you about the needs they may have. Then, offering to pray with them Right then and right there!

  • Everyone is busy. The holidays present additional pressures, reasons and commitments for your schedule. This week’s challenge is to give away your time. We have several different service opportunities for your family this week. None of them take expertise or preparation. All they take is willingness to prioritize others in the midst of our own hustle and bustle.

  • This week’s challenge is pretty straight forward: leave the biggest tip you can! Know that the number isn’t what’s important. God wants our hearts to be seeking to show others love and generosity, just as he has done for us.

We strongly suggest you pray about where to order from before you do this challenge. Consider inviting a few friends to come along and join you.

We are believing that God is going to use this to meet some very specific needs in our community. Have your ears open for how God might be using you to be the answer to someone’s prayers!

  • God has called us to trust him and to be generous. In the midst of our church needing some renovations, God is calling us to build for others before ourselves.

Before you determine what to give, pray! We are trusting that God will provide more than enough when we surrender to him. We challenge you to consider what a generous and sacrificial gift would be for you and your family.

Giving isn’t one size fits all. When it is done from the heart to bless others, God will bless and multiply the gift.

While on this trip Earl and Robin felt God leading them to more long-term mission work.

In 1998 the Pinkston’s accepted God’s call to serve on the Island of Malta for two years. Soon they would come to believe that God’s call for them was to become long-term missionaries to the people of Malta and have been serving full-time since 2001.

  • The Kendyl and Friends Foundation is in the process of buying land and hopes to soon construct a handicap accessible field to be used for their weekly Overcomers League Baseball games.

While this amount in and of itself isn’t enough to cover the cost of the facility, it is the beginning of our commitment as a church community to partner with Kyndal and Friends to use our resources to help this dream come to fruition!

$1000 of this offering will go to begin our commitment to partner with Kendyl and Friends to see this come to pass in our community.
