Jesus came to make things right now and forever. From infinity to beyond.

God didn’t just fight to get us. He now fights for us.

While they might seem similar, karma is focused on the downfall of others and the exaltation of ourselves. The principle of sowing and reaping is focused on trusting God in the process, no matter what it looks like.

It’s important that we understand that God is creator, and everything else is creation, and the truth of God’s word is that we are called to steward the created and worship the creator. 

We believe that just as there is a physical realm, there is a spiritual realm, and it’s important we understand that our adversary, the devil, wants to lie and confuse us when it comes to spiritual things. 

It matters that we have the real thing. As followers of Jesus we don’t need the “stars to align” we can place our hope in something (someone) secure and strong.

Here’s the truth: Jesus offers something so much better than a momentary dopamine hit or a quick escape from reality. He offers rest.

The man in Luke 5 (and Mark 2 / Matthew 9) found the answer to these questions we all ask. When he found himself helpless at the feet of Jesus, he discovered the self-worth he’d been seeking all along.

How can this be true when we are living in a more connected world than ever? A world where, in 2023, one survey found that these same teens average 4.8 hours of social media per day. How are we so hyper-connected yet we feel so far apart

So what does it even mean to have our identity in Christ? How do we know where our identity rests? When your identity is in Christ, you start chasing what God values and walking the road He leads

When Christians break up, we should be clear about our differences and we should continue in Christian Love. 

What do God-honoring Christian relationships look like and How should Christians date? 

In 1 Corinthians 6, Paul gets specific about the way in which we honor God in a world full of sexual temptation. Paul reminded the church that, to win the fight against lust, we have to train our hearts with truth and know when to run from temptation.

As the creator of our bodies and the creator of sex, God gets the last word on the way in which we use them.

This invitation by Jesus leads to a transformation in Zacchaeus, and the same is true for us! Jesus invites us into a relationship with him, no matter our past, our struggles, or anything else. 

While we all acknowledge our need for increased gratitude, so many of us still recognize that we don’t live our lives gratefully. 

Using the Bible as a guide for prayer begins with us knowing and reading God’s word. We aren’t going to pray something we’ve never touched and don’t know.

We can face the struggles of life and overcome the temptation of the enemy by living a life in the protection of God’s presence and by turning our hearts to God in moments of  testing. 

God provides for his people. Often we struggle to notice his provision. We walk right past it, and the result is a weak faith that doesn’t trust God for our daily bread.

While many are willing to TALK about God’s Kingdom being manifest here on earth, I’m afraid few are willing to BE about it.
