… authentic love is the true through line for a healthy church. Christlike love is what ties all of these pieces together.

The church gets messy when we neglect using our spiritual gifts to build up the body of Christ.

The church gets messy, though, when we misunderstand or misuse the freedom we have in Christ.

It’s been said that imitation is the greatest form of flattery. Sadly, mini church communities are flattering the world in the way that they reflect the culture around them.

What is the reason that we don’t grow in our walk with God? What keeps us from growing in our faith in Jesus is our selfishness, our laziness, and our pride.

…the way that we become a church that God has called us to be in one of those instances is that we start by focusing always on everything we do on the cross of Jesus Christ.

Revival comes at the cost of our willingness to humbly surrender to God and to completely depend on God

The answer to our doubt is Jesus! The reason we believe is Jesus. It’s all about Jesus. 

Throughout our lives, it’s important for us to determine whether or not we truly believe that God can do impossible things. Do we really believe in His supernatural power? One thing we must all come to grips with is that God does not work at our pace or according to our timing. God does not run on our schedule.

From the very first people to you and me today, every one of us will face doubt at some point in our lives. So how do we deal with it?

Jesus came to make things right now and forever. From infinity to beyond.

God didn’t just fight to get us. He now fights for us.

While they might seem similar, karma is focused on the downfall of others and the exaltation of ourselves. The principle of sowing and reaping is focused on trusting God in the process, no matter what it looks like.

It’s important that we understand that God is creator, and everything else is creation, and the truth of God’s word is that we are called to steward the created and worship the creator. 

We believe that just as there is a physical realm, there is a spiritual realm, and it’s important we understand that our adversary, the devil, wants to lie and confuse us when it comes to spiritual things. 

It matters that we have the real thing. As followers of Jesus we don’t need the “stars to align” we can place our hope in something (someone) secure and strong.

Here’s the truth: Jesus offers something so much better than a momentary dopamine hit or a quick escape from reality. He offers rest.

The man in Luke 5 (and Mark 2 / Matthew 9) found the answer to these questions we all ask. When he found himself helpless at the feet of Jesus, he discovered the self-worth he’d been seeking all along.

How can this be true when we are living in a more connected world than ever? A world where, in 2023, one survey found that these same teens average 4.8 hours of social media per day. How are we so hyper-connected yet we feel so far apart

So what does it even mean to have our identity in Christ? How do we know where our identity rests? When your identity is in Christ, you start chasing what God values and walking the road He leads
